About Tyres and Treads

Tyres and Treads sell a wide variety of tyres from a selection of top-quality tyre brands at affordable prices. When it comes to tyre prices, we are able to offer our customers very competitive options through the partnerships that we have established over the years with market leaders in the tyre industry. We stock tyres for diverse sectors of industry, which includes tyres for passenger (Sedan, SUV, 4×4), recreational, commercial, truck, light truck, agricultural, industrial, forestry, construction and earthmover vehicles.

Dedicated staff members are able to assist customers with expert tyre advice, recommend suitable tyre solutions, as well as offer tyre-related products and services at any of 5 workshops in George, George Central, Knysna, Mossel Bay and Oudtshoorn.

Basic tyre services include supply and fitment of new tyres & tubes, tyre & tube repair, wheel alignment & balancing, tyre related products, retreading, 24/7 breakdown service.

We have partnered with a dedicated national network in BTS since 2001, which enables us to service our customers in all areas within South Africa. We have 28 vehicles on the road, including 16 full-time on-road service vehicles. This ensures we are able to assist our customers almost immediately.

Our fleet customers have the option to make use of our Bandag ProTurbo Surveys, which include value-added packages tailored to individual fleet needs.

Tyre brands include, but are not limited to, Apollo, BF Goodrich, Bridgestone, Continental, Cooper Tires, Dunlop, Falken, Firestone, General Tire, Goodyear, Hankook, Maxxis, Michelin, Mickey Thompson, Pirelli, Sumitomo, Trelleborg and Yokohama.

We are open to the public from Monday to Saturday for your personal and commercial tyre requirements.
